Major transmission manufacturer Allison Transmission was founded in 1915 and prides itself on the reliability of its service as “the partner you can always rely on, just as you can rely on our products to provide years of service”.
3D animation was required by the company for its new Vehicle Acceleration Control (VAC) transmission unit, used to increase fuel efficiency in busses at stop-start and on inclines.
Allison has the broadest and most advanced range of fully-automatic power-shifting transmissions for on- and off-road applications.
It was no surprise then, that it relied on PAULEY, to fulfil its 3D animation needs. As the company says, its worldwide reputation for reliability extends to its unrivalled support network too.
Internationally-renowned vehicle manufacturer Skoda asked PAULEY to produce a video for an international promotional exhibition event.
The video would be used on loop on a screen within the exhibition space. PAULEY’s striking motion graphics animation ensured the event was an attention-grabbing success.
It also marked the start of spin-off work with Skoda as the company again contacted PAULEY to help with preparations to mark its 20th birthday as part of the Volkswagen Audi Group.
Nationwide UK fencing company Heras required a new 3D presentation for its nationwide Continual Professional Development presentations, designed to educate developers on best practice design techniques for its range of fencing for sports grounds and facilities.
Heras specialises in the design and manufacture of welded mesh fencing systems, self-raking railings, sports fencing systems and swing & sliding gates.
It is part of the UK’s largest group of fencing companies in the UK and turned to PAULEY for a company that reflected its company motto: “Where excellence is tradition”.

To help Skoda celebrate 20 years as part of the Volkswagen Group, PAULEY was asked to produce a motion graphic presentation of the last 20 years of Skoda’s history.
The PAULEY graphic was part of celebrations to mark the 20th year of Skoda’s membership of the Volkswagen Audi Group.
The video was included in the celebration event’s press pack as part of a major UK PR Campaign, helping journalists from around the world get the latest information when and where they needed it.
Top IT and Virtualisation experts Virtual Clarity required a promotional video for their new website to form an introduction to their site and services.
PAULEY created a striking video display that showcased the Kent-based company’s expertise in Javascript, email campaigns and content management systems.
Even in the highly-visual world of virtualisation, which relies on images to explain concepts, it required the expertise of PAULEY to bring focus to the company’s communications with an appealing and engaging customer-focussed animation video.
International electronics company Murata Power Solutions contacted PAULEY in search of a video for a promotional event. PAULEY’s design team worked collaboratively with MPS to create a novel way of showcasing the benefits of the company’s latest electronic components.
Murata is the world's leading supplier of board-mount power systems and the 4th largest supplier of power electronics, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC power systems, high-reliability power supplies, digital panel meters and data acquisition devices.
To help Murata highlight the radical benefits of its latest components, PAULEY incorporated a Rubick’s cube design into its video to highlight the size benefits of Murata’s components, along with their radical and innovative approach to product development – something PAULEY is perfectly suited to assist with.
Founded in 1990, the Daytona Group of karting racetracks quickly developed a reputation as the UK’s premier mass-market motorsport provider.
With a customer relations philosophy founded on a commitment to innovation, the company was keen to partner with PAULEY to continually enhance its service.
PAULEY produced a 3D visualisation and fly-through over Daytona’s premier racetracks, including animated karts and racers.
Daytona owns race venues at Sandown Park in Surrey, Milton Keynes & Trafford Park in Manchester. The company prides itself on providing exciting events and the highest levels of customer enjoyment. Working with PAULEY allowed it to continue this trend while developing new ways to entertain and serve its customers.
World-leading satellite firm Surrey Satellite Technology LTD has a 25-year history in the satellite market. It is an active supplier of satellite sub-systems and offers a range of launch services to help companies achieve lift-off. Little wonder that it came to PAULEY to help its marketing do the same.
When SST required 3D visualisations of the earth to use in its marketing material, it quickly identified PAULEY as the people for the job.

Once again, PAULEY ’s digital fly-throughs enabled an international company to spread its message around the globe. Icon Display creates branded environments for companies engaged in promotional work.
However, without PAULEY ’s modelling expertise it was impossible for the company to show customers exactly what its branded environments would look like in a dynamic, real-time environment.
The company needed the fly-throughs to show what leading sports grounds around the world would look like with a series of different artwork displays.
Thanks to PAULEY’s assistance, the company could then evaluate the different displays at a fraction of the cost involved in real installation.
The value of 3D design expertise for improving everyday presentations and communications was highlighted with PAULEY ’s work for thePublic Monuments and Sculpture Association (PMSA) in Milton Keynes.
The 3D designs allowed the association to investigate the public’s degree of online engagement, as part of its on-going work to engage local people with public works of art.
Through the power of 3D visualisation and modelling, the past is no longer consigned to history. Although the former glory of the ancient priory in Bradwell Abbey in Milton Keynes is a thing of the past, local historians were able to bring it back to life using PAULEY ’s expertise.
The 3D digital video constructed by PAULEY showed the ancient priory and abbey building in its original state as part of an in-house, online educational programme.
Education and training are just two of the areas where digital modelling can make a valuable contribution. This was shown by PAULEY ’s collaboration with industrial testing, certification and verification firm SGS PLC, based in Hamburg, Germany.
The company needed a way to deliver technical training to its ground staff across Europe. PAULEY devised a multilingual, animated e-training programme to handle the education needs of staff working on wind turbines.
When theVulcan to the Sky project embarked on the ambitious task of raising £2.7 million to see the iconic Vulcan jet take to the skies once more, showing prospective investors the plane in action was crucial to raising support.
PAULEY ’s collaboration with the Vulcan project resulted in a digital interpretation of the aeroplane in flight and, most importantly, the award of a Heritage Lottery Fund to make the dream become a reality.
The Avro Vulcan strategic bomber formed part of the RAF armoury for nearly 30 year from the mid-1950s to the mid-1980s. It is now a favourite with aviation fans at air shows up and down the UK.
The ability to visualise projects before they are completed is particularly valuable in the architecture business, where getting a feel for the look and feel of a building in 3D – as opposed to conventional 2D – is invaluable. This fact was quickly recognised by leading designers of sustainable buildings Capita Architecture.
The company recruited PAULEY to create a concept image for a performing arts centre featuring attention-grabbing exterior artwork. By utilising the power of 3D design, the company was able to refine its designs at huge cost savings and without the risk of relying on standard 2D graphics.
Capita Architecture is part of Capita Symonds, a specialist in delivering property and infrastructure projects on a regional, national and international level.
When theHomes and Communities Agency (HCA, formally EP) was asked to promote Milton Keynes to property and business investors, it quickly realised that words alone could not do the job.
Searching for inspiration, it turned to PAULEY to help it grab the attention and inspire the interest of backers, as part of the Invest Milton Keynes event.
PAULEY’s design team created a 3D fly-though of Milton Keynes city centre, incorporating scenic panoramic views, architectural highlights and replicas of the area’s many public artworks.
As a result, the HCA was able to reflect the vibrancy of the Milton Keynes business community with an equally vibrant promotional presentation.
The benefits of 3D modelling and design are not limited simply to representing physical objects. It can identify and provide solutions to problems even before they occur.
This was highlighted by PAULEY ’s work with architects 3D Reid and their development of retail and residential facilities for Oxford Street in London.
3D models of the proposed developments helped the company’s architects establish how lighting would be influenced by the proposed location. As a result of PAULEY’s work, the company could develop realistic and viable lighting solutions for the buildings – gaining reassurance that they had chosen the best option.
When the artist Mick Petts announced plans to not only renovate the unused Cleveland Lakes in the Cotswolds but turn them into a major regional attraction, no-one was quite sure what to expect.
To help share Mick’s vision with the wider community, the Cotswold Water Park Society came to PAULEY for help.
The PAULEY team created a walk- and fly-through of the conservation site in exact line with Mick’s vision. The fly-through gave those involved a unique glimpse of the project before it was completed.
It showed the creation of a maze-style reef, stretching out into the water and taking on the shape of an ammonite fossil. The reef would be used to help visitors to the lake explore its nature and the natural history behind it.
Green-technology company EVRS needed to share its vision of a zero-waste society with the wider business community. It needed a photo-realistic image of its so-called ‘zero-bury’ recycling unit. However, the actual product didn’t exist yet and so, it approached PAULEY for help.
The PAULEY team not only created a photo-real image of the product but created a series of alternative backgrounds, so it could be seen in a variety of environments.
Every year, visitors flock in their tens of thousands to Woburn Abbey to see the historic and beautiful home of the Duke of Bedfordshire.
However, with 3,000 acres of grounds for guests to visit, it’s almost impossible for visitors to see everything the historic estate has to offer.
That’s when PAULEY came to the rescue with a digital tour of the impressive abbey and beautiful grounds, in which 10 species of deer roam freely.
